PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER, TROUBLE-FREE OPERATION

Tips

1. Don’t add sugar with the motor turning.
(sugar can hurt eyes is floss head is missed when pouring)

2. Fill 90% full when adding sugar.

3. Do not let floss head empty completely when running….it will smoke.

4. Practice your skills making cones, then use put the practice cones into bags.  (this gives you a chance to practice your technique and make bags of floss ahead of time.

Floss Making Procedures

1. Turn on  motor and heat switch.  Note the Heat switch will only go on when the motor is on, this prevents overheating of the floss head and possible damage.  Note the direction of the floss as it is spun off the floss head.

2. Hold the cone between two fingers and thumb, about an inch or two from the pointed end.

5. Break into the web of floss with a light flicking motion.

6. Lift up the cone with the ring of floss attached and wind the floss onto the cone.

7. Roll floss on outside of pan ONLY.

8. When you have practiced a bit, you might prefer to lift the ring of floss out of the pan with a flick of the wrist, turn the ring into a Figure 8 and whip it around onto the cone. This leaves air pockets making it appear that you are building a larger cone.

Tips for successful cotton candy

1. Only use premixed floss sugar provided with your rental unit to make candy floss.  We have additional supplies including bags, floss sugar and cones in the shop at all times.
2. Do not let the floss head empty completely of floss -  the head will over heat and cause damage.
3.Relax and enjoy your event and have a great time!
