Nancy Snell opened the doors to NJS Design Event & Party Rentals in 1997 from her family farm. Today, NJS Design Event & Party Rentals works out of 5000 square feet of space, almost entirely of wedding décor and rentals and with an inventory that is continuously growing.
Nancy is the cornerstone of our operation. She is usually the ﬁrst person to greet you and loves working with linens. She is dedicated to continually improving her knowledge by taking professional courses. Nancy is a Certiﬁed Event Rental Professional.
The organization is evolving as the 2nd generation takes a more active role in the business. Nancy’s daughter – Laura started with the business in 2011. This opportunity ensures a continuity of exceptional service and brings in fresh ideas as the business grows. We put our customers’ minds at ease by offering quality rental items for events and parties, as well as design, set-up, tear-down and delivery/pickup services.
When shopping around please consider that we own all our inventory. We clean, press and pack all our orders at our Clinton location. Everything is washed after every use, including chair covers. We strive to exceed your expectations.
We carry a large selection of ﬁne linen styles. Whether you are looking for basic solids, satin or beautiful overlays, we have that perfect linen for your event. Our table linen and napkin rentals are available in a variety of colours, patterns and sizes. All of our linens are laundered and maintained in-house to assure you the highest quality.
NJS Design & Event Party Rentals offers a wide variety of solid colors in our polyester linen selection. These linens are made of a polyester-twill blend that sweeps gently to the lap or the ﬂoor on a table. Satin linens are an easy and inexpensive way to add glamour to your event. Your guests will rave about the feel and elegance of these ﬂoor length linens.

NJS Design & Event Party Rentals is becoming renowned for our outstanding back drops. Featuring gorgeous draping and accent linens, we are pleased to offer design, complete installation and tear down services for our back drops.
Stop by the Show Room to play with fabrics and let’s design together to create a stunning back drop for your event. Back drops are especially effective for head tables, dessert and candy bars as well as lounge areas. Our event team offers a complete event setup service.
DESIGN & EVENT SETUP
We encourage customers to make an appointment to visit the Show Room. We love hearing your vision and dreams for your special upcoming event. Whether it is a wedding or fundraising event, the Showroom features everything you need to bring your design to life. Our staff will do as much or as little you need when it comes to making suggestions and evolving your inspiration.
We gladly provide swatches of fabrics for you to share with other vendors. These swatches are free of charge and do not need to be returned.

When booking,please consider hiring our team for event setup. From putting linens and place settings on tables to setting up ceremony sites with seating, arbours and ﬂowers, our professional team is available. Enjoy your moment! Advanced booking is necessary.
NJS Design and Party Rentals has its own linen cleaning/processing facilities complete with a ﬂat work ironer at our Devon Street location in Clinton, Ontario. We clean our own linen on-site and now offer a cleaning service available for customer owned table linens and chair covers. This is a great service for area restaurants and event venues.

We pride ourselves in being linen specialists. There are so many fabrics and sizes to suit a variety of events! We are happy to calculate the size of linens needed for your event either during a visit to our show room or via a phone call.
Measuring The Tables

Once you determined the number of tables and style (cocktail, round, rectangle) of tables, it is time to take measurements.
When measuring tables for cloths ﬁnd the 3 measurements that will help you and us get the right table cloth for your event. Measure the following: side to side (the length of the table), back to front (the width of the table) and top to ground (the height of the table).
Hint: Normally, most ” folding leg” tables (round or rectangular) are 30 inches high. Standard Rectangular banquet tables are usually 30 inches wide.
Here are some general rules of thumb for linen sizes.
• 36″ round table (seats two – four) use 80″ sq or 90″ rd both ﬂoor length
• 48″ round table (seats six) use 80″ sq or 90″ rd for chair height overhang
• 60″ round table (seats six to eight) use 90″ rd for chair height overhang or 120″ to drape to the ﬂoor
• 72″ round table (seats eight to ten) use 90″ rd for chair height overhang, 120″ for a 24″ to drape to the ﬂoor
• 6′ banquet table ( seats 6 ) use standard banquet cloth for chair height overhang
• 8′ banquet table ( seats 8 ) use standard banquet cloth for chair height overhang
More About Overhangs
To achieve a more formal or elegant look go with longer or ﬂoor length table covers. When having an outdoor event look for ﬂoor length table covers that cover all four sides of a table. Then guests can walk around the yard and not see unsightly table legs and rental crates. Don’t be afraid to use ﬂoor length covers outside.
Changing the overhang length changes the look. Over hangs are based on the longest side of a table (Side to Side). Standard tables are approximately 30 inches tall. Take the overhang length and subtract it from the table height (Table to Ground) and you have the distance from the ground to the table cloth or how much leg is showing.
